Reporting to the CEO, the Global Sustainability Manager will be responsible for leading Recipharm’s global sustainability reporting efforts by providing expert knowledge on climate and sustainability reporting to fulfil the Sustainability Roadmap. 

The Sustainability Manager will be accountable for ESG related internal & external reporting requirements, managing the ESG database maintenance and training, driving analysis, and consolidating information across functions to develop comprehensive reports. 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Define, train, maintain, and govern the ESG reporting process across all contributing functions 
  • Provide in-depth understanding of reporting requirements such as SBTi, CDP, Annual Sustainability Reports, Lender’s SFA Reporting, UN Global Compact, and CSRD including EU taxonomy 
  • Monitor and implement changes in sustainability requirements and legislation, ensuring reporting aligns with relevant EU legislation and identifying when external resources are needed 
  • Manage and report on the company’s sustainability performance in line with the Sustainability Roadmap, corporate goals, and stakeholder requirements 
  • Identify and support the drafting of necessary sustainability policies to meet external requirements 
  • Define data collection and reporting standards for key functions such as Finance, HR, Operations (EHS, Procurement, Manufacturing), Commercial, and Legal 
  • Establish and coordinate processes to consolidate sustainability data and provide regular reports to senior leaders and shareholders 
  • Lead and coordinate ESG related audits and manage related deviations by coordinating the functions to resolve in timely manner 
  • Conduct trend analyses and develop recommendations to improve global KPIs 
  • Provide due diligence support to ensure compliance and alignment with sustainability goals 


Skills and Experience 

Essential 

  • University degree in Sustainability, EU legislative frameworks, international sustainability standards, project management, Finance, or Environmental Policy 
  • Five years of hands-on experience working with a broad range of sustainability topics, understanding different stakeholders’ views on sustainability 
  • Three years of experience with reporting such as GRI, CDP, UN Global Compact, SBTi, Annual Sustainability Reports, Lender’s SFA Reporting, and CSRD including EU taxonomy 
  • Experience in planning, managing, and organizing projects within short to medium timescales within the sustainability framework 
  • Experience in setting up digital tools for sustainability data and reporting 
  • Experience in training management teams and operational functions on sustainability topics 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Fluency in English

Location 

This role is 100% remote and open to applicants with EU/UK citizenship or candidates with a valid work/residence permit who have permanent residence in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, or Portugal. No EU/UK visa sponsorship is offered.
