Our client is a market leader in sustainable solutions for the B2b market.
In this position you will be responsible for reporting sustainability related activities as well as financial reporting. This will include aligning the company’s sustainability reporting requirements with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in terms of framework, policies, data collection and assurance to ensure meeting the Company sustainability reporting targets and ambitions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the Company’s annual sustainability report inline with CSRD requirements and other relevant regulations
- Identify and track the latest trends in sustainability reporting regulations (‘CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CS3D, etc.), best practices, frameworks and standards
- Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance, identify and prioritize the organization’s key sustainability issues as part of the materiality analysis
- Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems are in place to support and maintain sustainability reporting integrity and assuranceover regulations affecting the companies ESG reporting requirements (‘CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CS3D, etc.)
- Sustainability data collection in coordination with internal responsible organizations and reporting throughout the year
- Advise internally on policy development related to sustainability
- Data assurance and verification for external reporting purposes
- Report the financials statements, closings
Requirements:
- Academic background in accounting & control
- Preferrable a back ground in a BIG4 environment ( senior associate/ manager) with business experience in CSRD/ESG
- Experience in sustainability reporting standards such as IPECA, SASB, GRI, ISSB, ESRS.
- Knowledge of Sustainability/ESG rating agencies, frameworks and databases
- Expert in technical sustainability data, calculation methodologies and limitations
- Self-motivated, autonomous with a can-do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including presenting to various levels of company management
- 5+ years of sustainability reporting related experience
